Questions

Can I sign up?
You can request an invite with your FSU email on the invite page. Coffee To Career is in a private pilot at Florida State University, and invites open to FSU students soon. Until they do, the form keeps nothing and tells you so.
Does it cost anything?
No. It's free for the students in the FSU pilot. There's no card to enter, no premium tier and no ads.
I'm not at FSU. Can I use it?
Not yet. It's opening to FSU students first, because that's where it started. There's no waitlist for other schools yet.
Who is this for?
FSU business students, including entrepreneurship majors. Finance and accounting roles appear and are scored like the rest. Specialized fields such as nursing aren't covered yet.
Where do the jobs come from?
From more than 1,000 employers' own job boards and from public internship and new-grad lists. As of October 3, 2026, there are more than 10,000 open internship and co-op listings: more than 8,500 from those lists and more than 2,000 from the boards. Coffee To Career never reads LinkedIn, Handshake or Indeed itself.
Why is a job I saw somewhere else missing?
We only read boards on a few hiring systems. Companies on Workday, iCIMS, Taleo or their own websites often aren't in the library, and neither are Handshake-only postings. You can add any posting yourself from the postings list.
Do you apply for me?
No. On Greenhouse and Lever applications (systems many companies hire through), for a posting that passes its checks, Coffee To Career lines up answers from what you've saved and lists the questions only you can answer. You open the form, paste in the answers, attach your resume and send it. Other forms you fill in on your own. It never types into an employer's form.
Do you message people on LinkedIn for me?
No. Coffee To Career never connects to LinkedIn. For a posting you saved, it can draft one note to the person you saved for it. You copy it into LinkedIn and send it, then press Mark sent, and the follow-up shows up on your first page when it's due.
Do you read my email?
Only if email is switched on for your account. In the pilot that's set up by hand on our server for one Gmail address. When it's on, you can email a person you saved, and the email goes out only when you press Send, at most 20 a day. Coffee To Career then checks that inbox every 10 minutes for replies to those emails. When it's off, you send from your own email and paste any reply in.
Who sees my resume?
You do. So do we, since it's stored on our server. When you use an AI feature, your resume and answers go to Google's Gemini to do the work. An employer sees your resume only when you send it with an application. FSU doesn't run this site.
What happens to my data?
We keep what you give us and what you make here: your profile and answers, your resume and its versions, saved postings, applications and their records, the people and messages you log, drafts and prep rooms. The Your data page in the app has a Download my data button that gives you a copy. Deleting your account inside the app is still being built. Until it is, we delete it by hand within 30 days of your asking. Everyone with an account today was invited in person, so you can ask the person who invited you.
Is the AI always right?
No, it can get things wrong about you or about a company. Suggested replies, the practice coach and the prep room's notes on the company aren't checked at all, and the recruiter-side read is checked for numbers only. Cover letters, notes drafted for a posting, resume bullets and LinkedIn rewrites are checked against your resume and profile, and names and numbers the check can't find there are flagged. It misses some, like numbers written out as words, and it checks words, not meaning, so read every draft yourself.
How is this different from Handshake?
Some jobs you'll only see on Handshake, and we can't read it, but you can add any of those postings here by hand. Coffee To Career covers employers' own job boards and public internship and new-grad lists, and scores each posting against your answers. It also has a resume editor, coffee chat notes, application answers and a prep room, which is in beta.
I already track everything in a spreadsheet. Why switch?
A spreadsheet works if you keep it up, but you type every posting, date and follow-up yourself. Here, tapping I want to apply puts the job on your list with its steps, and once you confirm you sent it, the follow-up shows up 7 business days later.
Does my career center already do this?
It does things we can't. A real person reads your resume and runs a mock interview with you, so keep booking those. Coffee To Career covers the days in between: the postings list, a resume copy for each posting and the notes to people at the companies.
